Electrical for Additions and Remodels, Electrical Switches, Outlets, and Fixtures, Wiring and Panel Upgrades
"If you're like us, you may be wondering how in the world you're going to find a reliable contractor. Let us help you: Hire Steller. We sought numerous quotes for the remodeling of our master and hall bathrooms, plus the installation of new flooring, hanging of cabinets and painting of our laundry room. We went with Steller and have absolutely zero regrets! Bryan Lipps and his team are a homeowner's dream...we really never had to provide a punch list, because Bryan was absolutely meticulous. Without fail, he ended up telling us what he was going to go back and touch up or correct before we ever asked. The quality of workmanship was excellent, and our project was finished on time and on budget. Bryan was also extremely flexible as we 'tacked on' additional requests as the project moved along. Note that Steller will ask you to use Home Depot products. We weren't 100% comfortable with this at first, but in the end had quality materials for a very competitive price. We completely trusted the crew in our house, and quite honestly saw the same three guys for the six+ weeks our project lasted...we really got to know them and appreciated them asking questions and paying attention to detail. We strongly recommend Steller for your home remodel project. Bryan is extremely easy to work with and has a great attention to detail. You will be glad you hired them."

"Excellent job. He called to schedule a time to evaluate job & give us an estimate. Provided a clear, detailed estimate in writing. We called to schedule, they ordered generator and installed it the day after it came in. Very professional, excellent workmanship. Would highly recommend."

Electrical Residential & Commercial
"Survivor Electric responded immediately, literally with 5 minutes, of my using Angi's list "emergency" online project code. We'd been without electricity for over 14 hours with outside temperatures in the "teens". They arrived within 4 hours of our call and solved the problem. They were very professional, excellent expertise and offered a lot of "value added" advice throughout the visit about our primary project and a couple of others we hired them for on the spot and others we'll be hiring them for in the future."

"Erin was so kind and scheduled me the same week! I wish all people had her kindness and customer service skills., she is very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Jeff came out and did the work, Super nice guy, did a great job. Jeff is very experienced and knows this business. He is also dog friendly and that made a big difference since I have 2 dogs. He took the time to explain the job to me. And finished in a short amount of time. I will recommend this company to all my friends and family for any future electrical work! I definitely will be calling them back for future projects! Thank you Jeff and Erin for showing me that good customer service and expertise is still out there!"

Electrical Work
"Mike and Christian where consummate professionals. They replaced our service from the pole and added a 200 amp panel while removing the patched together mess that was there before. They also added multiple recessed lights and outlets/switches in our plaster ceiling and walls with minimal cutouts to guide the wires. Treated our house as their own. Highly recommend!"

Electricians do a fair amount of larger remodeling and new construction projects but also common residential projects including:
For cost information related to the above tasks, visit our Electrical Cost Guide.
A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
