Stotler Construction was hired to frame a new construction project at my house in Del Mar. They were great with communication and were very responsive to any questions I had. Once the work began, the crew showed up on time and was professional and courteous. The workers seemed to know each other well and enjoy working together. The project (about 1,000 sq/ft family space, game room and storage) was completed without issues or delays and for the price originally quoted. The owner, Bart, is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of construction and was very helpful with his guidance and advice. He truly cares that the project be completed to a high-quality standard, even the non-framing elements. Bart even responded to questions/emails while he was on vacation and over the Christmas/New Years holiday. Another aspect of working with Stotler Construction that is appreciated is that they placed the order for materials through a local hardware store (Dixieline) and I was able to take advantage of their contractor pricing, but paid directly, so materials were not marked up. Considering how expensive building materials and wood have become, this saved a good deal of money. I am confident recommending Stotler Construction and thank them for the great work.

Very thorough and professional

Bart was extraordinarily professional, always on time, helpful coordinating all the different trades necessary to complete our project, and his quality of framing work turned out excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend.

Bart was a pleasure to work with. He took the time to understand what I wanted, and he communicated with me every step of the way to fine tune my vision. He had great suggestions for little details along the way to make things even better. I wanted a multi-use outbuilding (shed built like a small house, not a typical shed), with specific features, and he delivered. His proposal was competitive, and the work done by Stotler Construction was impressive. They ended up building a custom arbor, a raised deck for a storage shed, and my custom dog kennel / craft storage "mini house", including Hardieboard lap siding, installing a window, two sets of doors, a storage loft and decorative trim work. These folks work hard, and Bart has great attention to detail. My drywaller was pleased with how easy his job was since the framing was so true and even. When one tradesman compliments the work of another, you know you've got a good one! They also don't waste time or effort. They worked efficiently as an experienced team. I also enjoyed the amount of laughter and joking around they did, it is good to see people enjoying their work while not wasting time, and turning out a quality product. I am picky, and I have no patience for unprofessionalism. Stotler was professional every step of the way, whether it was communicating scheduling and timelines, being on time, working hard, and delivering everything as promised. The only thing I can find to complain about is the site cleanup, and my issues were minor. I am obsessive, and find fault in almost everything, so when I mention site cleanup I only mean they did a good job cleaning up, not a great job. But honestly, a little sawdust is not a big deal, and doesn't lower my rating enough to matter. I have more projects to do in the future, and I intend to use Stotler again.

Stotler Construction, Inc. was a pleasure to work with. They were easy to do business with, took the time to understand my wife and I s needs and most importantly provided great quality work. I would reccomend Stotler Construction, Inc to anybody that needs a great contractor.

We were so fortunate to find Bart to put our shed together. We reached out to several contractors but none were as impressive as Bart. Bart studied the instructions to construct the shed before he gave us an estimate. He also recommended some minor upgrades to make it a more durable shed. (We noted that this was in some of the products reviews so we were impressed) Bart did an excellent job. He is very knowledgeable, has a strong work ethic and is also very skilled. He communicates well and often unlike most contractors I have dealt with. Hardworking and quality workmanship â and he is just a nice person too!
