"Hugo actually did a full-blown backyard remodel to support our new pool. This included a new concrete patio with tile, a firepit table, a built-in grill, three fire bowls, stepstone path, channel drains, retaining wall, block divider wall, concrete slabs for the pool equipment and side yard, new vinyl fence and gate to hide all of it, benderboard, mulch, lighting, wall repairs, stucco, paint, etc. It was a very involved, multi-week project. Hugo speaks perfect English AND Spanish, his prices are very fair, and he will keep at it until you're happy, with a can-do attitude. This is to celebrate incredible product and service in case you are reading and are in the market for structural support. As a first time homeowner, I went through the arduous process of educating myself on everything about my home including its structure and one of the points of repair that I knew was critical was foundation repairs and retrofitting. I reached out to multiple contractors and got a few assessments and quotes and what was different about Alpha Structural is they are not "selling retrofitting" as some companies do. They have a team to come out to the home, give you all of the information you need about the condition of your home and they give a quote and project scope based on what you NEED and that was what set them apart in their first step. The pricing was very reasonable and I was really happy with the quote. Customer service was great, scheduling happened quickly, and they took the time to ensure that I understood what to expect. The best part - THE TEAM. The guys who showed up did an incredible job the entire process and even though structural work is loud and messy they cleaned the site every day, they worked with me to ensure that accessing the property wouldn't cause a disturbance, and we experienced blips like the heat going out due to the work and water temperature changes they fixed it immediately without any inconvenience. Once the project was done it was like I had a brand new crawl space! I was even offered before and after photos so I could capture the difference the work made. "If you need your foundation waterproofed right then I highly recommend Johnny and his crew. They are expert waterproofers, their pricing is fair, and they're extremely reliable. They also offer a lifetime guarantee for their work. We hired A R Contracting after water infiltrated our basement during the storms last winter. Johnny did extra work to ensure the job was done right, such as applying waterproofing adjacent to the foundation and underneath the path next to the building to ensure water did not intrude around the corner of the foundation. He did not charge for extra services like that, as it was his priority to make sure everything was adequately waterproofed. Johnny accounted for every detail of the process and regularly walked us through what he was doing and why in order to ensure proper waterproofing and drainage that would last basically forever. As an example of Johnnys commitment to service, after the job was finished, we had an issue with an electrical outlet for one of our sump pumps. The outlet itself was not Johnnys responsibility, but when the issue happened, he was getting ready to drive over late on a Sunday night in the rain to help fix it. We figured out what that the problem was on our end so he did not need to come down, but this was a solid demonstration of his commitment to standing by his work. We spent all of the last rainy season nervous about the water intrusion problems getting worse, but thanks to the work Johnny and his team did, we are confident that the work Johnny did will keep all the water out this winter and for as many winters as we live here."
