"Protocol Air gave me an offer. I asked others to match. No one can. So I went with Protocol air. Sure enough, they send two guys the next morning with the furnace and installed it professionally. The workmanship was great. Better yet, Protocol Air offered to help apply for rebate for me for the high efficiency system. I have not see the rebate check yet. Will update when get it."

"I urge everyone to take a look at their HVAC/furnace/boiler/ etc. and if you are staring at it, the way I was, screaming WHAT THE HECK, call Kyle. If you are Youtube how to splice wires to install that smart thermostat, stop it, call Kyle. Seriously, just call Kyle. You hear the horror stories, I called for what I thought was $X and the HVAC tech came and now I have a $200X invoice. That is not the case with Kyle. I have been there, do-it-yourself projects exist, but your heating and cooling is not one of them. Do not believe me, call around; then call Kyle, then call Kyle back because you realize he is available, upfront, and transparent. That is what I did. Kyle helped me demystify my heating and cooling system. Now I stare at my HVAC system, knowing what is what, and how I can quickly troubleshoot it and maintain it. What surprised me the most, this is not what Kyle was required to do. He came to help us with something unrelated. Nevertheless, he stayed late, and answered all the questions my wife and I had; we had a lot. It felt like we had a friend over the entire time. Sure enough, that's how it felt when he left. In conclusion, thank you Kyle for being genuinely you; kind, courteous, and professional. Whether you need a repair or want to prevent one down the road, get with Kyle and learn the ins and outs of how to optimize your home's heating and cooling. Schools in session. Thanks again! P.S. "My initial phone call with the owner made me feel at ease in an otherwise stressful situation (furnace stopped working a few days before temperatures were forecasted to drop into the 10 - 20º range. He explained their approach, process and commitment to fairness and honesty. While this could just be a good sales pitch, it felt sincere and I came to realize they truly stand by those values. They were able to get a tech over to my house that same day, and after only 20 minutes, the problem was diagnosed (gas valve had died). No upselling, no fear mongering about other what ifs that they could also help with now. Just straight to the point and a plan to return and replace the part the following day. Sure enough, the next morning, a tech was back out to my place with the replacement part. He had it installed and the heat back on in 30 minutes. Communication was excellent throughout the process, with standard updates via email/text and conversational updates by phone. This is a top notch company. I would definitely recommend working with them!"

"My mother's boiler unexpectedly broke down and Home Advisor recommended Challenger Heating & Air. I spoke to the owner Jorge, who was very patient, answering all my questions and concerns. He explained the procedure and the required parts necessary prior to the install. Jorge and his crew, Chris and Christian were very courteous, performed a high quality installation and cleaned the area upon completion. After the system was fired up, Jorge checked all the radiators and made adjustments to ensure proper efficiency. In addition he repaired her toilet water line free of charge. The price was very fair. I would not hesitate to hire Challenger again and highly recommend their company for any HVAC needs. Excellent job!"

"Dun Rite did very well by me. Peter Tsoutas, the owner and hands-on supervisor, literally knows everything about HVAC. Peter s communication skills and patience were so helpful that even my 94-year-old mother was able to understand the HVAC job. As far as the job that Dun Rite completed for my mother, I could not have imagined that the work could have been done any better. And, I am one of those DIY guys. So, I had a reasonable amount of expectations and an understanding of HVAC. Dun Rite removed an entire existing gas forced air and AC system. On the same day, they installed an entire upgraded replacement system. It was for a large zone that required a five and a half-ton compressor. 1. The project was fully explained to me by Peter. 2. I was offered three different options from which I could choose. I selected the appropriate equipment and was able to control my own costs. 3. By far, Dun Rite s price was the lowest of three bids. 4. It might have just been my luck, but Peter was able to schedule the job the next week. The entire job was completed in one day. I am talking about removing and replacing an entire zone of forced gas heating and AC for a very large space. The installation required a five and a half ton AC compressor. 5. Dun Rite s installation team was polite, articulate, and respectful of our home. The furnace room actually looked cleaner after the job than it did beforehand. 6. The new HVAC system is far more efficient and quieter than the old one. For the first time, I am looking forward to seeing my next gas bills. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dun Rite to anyone. Including my own mother. They are the best HVAC company that I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with in fifty years."

"Every other review on here is right on. First, Cesar is awesome. He called me back right away on a Sunday night (not expected) and was able to make time to see me the next day. He found a boiler (which I have heard is not very easy right now) and had it to my house for the end of the week. He had the old failing heater out and the new one installed (nice, clean install) in one day. Throughout the entire process he was very communicative. The crew wore masks in the house (as did we) when interacting with us which I appreciated and they were very careful to treat the house with care by putting down runners, taking off shoes, shoe covers, etc. Today (second day) they came back and are doing a final cleanup and reviewing any last minute issues. I screwed them up and caused an issue with a T-Stat and Cesar took the time to a. fix it and b. make sure I understood the right way to do it and how to configure it going forward. I really cannot recommend these guys enough. I am beyond impressed and feel very lucky that I found them for my boiler. The price was very reasonable especially considering the time frame they were able to turn it around in."

"Our furnace went out in the early morning in February 2021. After reviewing local HVAC companies, I put out some calls for service. The first technician noted that the furnace was shot (cracked heat exchanger) and was unsafe to continue using. It was under 30 degrees outside and space heaters only helped keep the house in the 50s, but this was considered an emergency job and needed to be done ASAP. I received several written estimates for replacing the furnace throughout the day (most of which were higher than I anticipated) and awaited the estimate from the first technician, I thought, why not try Home Advisor (which I've never used previously). After submitting my information in the evening, I was put in touch with Ross at Adriatic Heating and Air Conditioning within minutes. He came the next day and provided the most competitive estimate for a unit I was comfortable with on the spot. Although I understand from almost all of the companies I was in touch with that replacing the A/C at the same time was prudent, it also upped the cost substantially from this surprise need to replace the furnace. Ross also noted it would be prudent to replace the A/C, but noted that it would not be any problem to replace only the furnace at this time. We went with Adriatic and are extremely satisfied with Ross and his father (Sal). They were very nice and professional, did the job as quoted, for the cost quoted (well, $50 extra for an outside faceplate that the new high efficiency furnaces need...not a concern) and in the timeframe quoted. Ross had to return to replace the double electrical outlet on the furnace with a single outlet (town code), which was done no charge. I would absolutely hire Adriatic again and recommend them. Sorry about the slow review!"

I was told I needed a new AC unit by another vendor who also tried to sell me a water heater and water softener at the same time. Then Sam came from Overall and repaired the panel On our furnace that controls the AC and for a fraction of the cost and time, my AC was up and running. I can t tell you how pleased we were... Amazing he restored my faith in repairmen."

"Gomez Vision Construction put up a fence for us, tiled our kitchen backsplash, installed a tin ceiling in our kitchen, fixed a cracked plaster ceiling, and installed a bluestone path in the front yard. "The owner came to my house on a Sunday, no charge, and reviewed the situation with my 25 year old boiler. We had no heat or hot water, and he saw the problem immediately. He did not guarantee success, but he said the unit had a 50/50 chance of being repairable. This meant a lot as other companies just wanted to sell a new furnace. He told me had a Tech with the skill set to fix my issue, and the man he sent delivered big time! The boiler helped by being repairable, but the Tech knew what to do and he even told me before starting it was possible it might not work. I appreciated their transparency. They were not trying to sell me a new furnace for 1000s of bucks. This was an answer to prayer and I would recommend this company 100% They gave me honest appraisals and allowed me to try to fix it before trying to sell me a replacement. BRAVO!!!!!!!!!"
